A Day in the Life of Benefits Specialist:
The Benefits Specialist works alongside benefits leadership to support and coordinate the organization's employee benefits programs.
Explains benefits programs to employees, assists with enrollment, benefits claims, resolution of claims issues, process payroll deductions and oversee wellness programs.
Provides analytical, technical and compliance support in the delivery of the benefits programs.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing:
Achieves benefits operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans.
Reviews, prepares and completes action plans; implements production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards.
Identifies and resolves problems; completes audits; identifies, develops, and implements system improvements.
Identifies benefit options by studying programs; obtains advice from consultants; communicates recommendations to Benefits Partner and Director Human Resources.
Provides customer service support to internal and external customers.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforces adherence to requirements; advises management on needed actions.
Resolves employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
Informs employees of benefit usage by preparing and distributing benefit reports.
Performs analysis, benefits program administration, planning and overall execution in collaboration with the Benefits Administrator and Director Human Resources.
Develops communication tools enhancing understanding of the company's benefits package; designs and distributes materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions.

Here Is What You Will Need:
Associate’s degree or higher
OR, three (3) or more years of Human Resources experience
Nice To Have:
Bachelor’s degree
Human Resources certification or benefits certification
