Our fast-paced physical roles involve daily inspection of plastic parts to ensure conformity to engineering and quality standards.

Shifts available: 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday How YOU will make an impact: Daily inspection of plastic parts to ensure conformity to company engineering and quality standards.
Cross trains as a back-up to the Associate Quality Control Specialist when there are specific labor shortages.
Effectively communicates quality issues to other functions when observations are observed during Work-In Process Incoming and Assembly inspections.
Conduct multiple visual and/or dimensional inspections of parts from all appropriate molding cells, daily.
Other duties as assigned and as stated in the full job description.
You’ll also need to be able to: Apply company quality standards and make appropriate evaluation of all products.
Work in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Wear protective gloves and equipment to handle parts when applicable.
Functional understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
Maintain a consistent, positive attitude and approach to adversity and challenges.
Provide suggestions for and support continuous improvement activities within the department Qualifications to be successful: GED or High School diploma required.
Associates degree in a specialized field such as science or technology with at least 1 year of experience in a quality control/assurance role preferred.
Prior QA experience preferred.
Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write short correspondence.
Experience working in the injection molding industry.
Day to day environment: SAFE & clean environment Dress Code – Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
For those working in the Clean Room, additional gowning is required and will be provided, daily.
You’ll be working around large machines, forklifts and welders.
Climate control temperatures and all work is conducted inside.
