Location: Garcia House, Fort Collins, Colorado Status: Full-Time What You’ll Do: As a Behavioral Health Technician, Garcia House the person in this role provides services to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
Duties include milieu management, brief counseling interventions, psycho-education and activities groups, and treatment planning within a Crisis Stabilization Unit setting.
The position interacts extensively with a large interdisciplinary team including RNs, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Therapists, and Psychologists.
This position requires knowledge of diversity and inclusion with the relevant ability to engage, communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people of different backgrounds, identities, and culturally diverse communities.
Required: Bachelor's degree in behavioral science.
Work experience with people with severe and persistent mental illness/substance abuse issues or individuals with similar human-service needs.
Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid Colorado driver's license with ability to be insured by SummitStone Health.
Preferred: Bilingual/Bi-cultural.
CAS certification.

04 to $28.
85 per hour, based on relevant years of experience.
Employees working at locations operating 24/7 earn a differential.
Shift differentials are also available for evenings, nights, weekend and holidays.
