_Rocky Mountain Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic for our Cheyenne, WY location.
This is a Shop service and repair position, with an on-call rotation schedule.
We have 2 shifts available, Days 7am - 3:30pm and Evenings 2:30pm - 11pm.

*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and on-highway truck malfunctions and failures
* Performs work accurately and with no come backs
* Prepare and complete all related inspection forms for tractors and trailers
* Promote additional work, parts and services for Service Writers to put forward to customers
* Use safe working practices and follow all company safety requirements
* Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures
* Communicate effectively with Service Writers, Shop Managers, and Breakdown Coordinators, to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repair are understood and followed up on
* There is an On-call rotation required with this position which will entail working in field/roadside conditions, out of a service truck, without the support functions of a service shop
*REQUIREMENTS:*
*Minimum Experience Required: *
* 2+ years of experience in Diesel engine or system repair.
Hourly pay is negotiable depending on experience.
*Licenses & Other Requirements: *
* Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
* Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
* Must provide own hand tools that are adequate to perform repairs
