This is a full-time salaried position with the City with an anticipated hiring salary range of $42,000-$52,000 a year! The Business Support ll is a critical role within our organization, your primary responsibilities will involve engaging with external and internal customers through phone and email interactions, focusing on code compliance, invoicing, and records management.
Serving as the initial point of contact, you will be responsible for sending out violation letters, conducting thorough research for accurate information, and processing payments for code enforcement.
The role also includes efficient records management, involving the manipulation of data to generate comprehensive reports.
The role also involves ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and offering support to external and internal customers.

Establishes and maintains effective office systems and procedures, including supply inventory.
May provide customer service for internal customers and citizens, including explanation and interpretation of policies and procedures, in person and via telephone.
Responsible for supporting a specific project or program for a department or division as assigned.
Enters data, compiles records and reports; tabulates or posts data; may develop and maintain data bases.
Compiles and organizes materials for various programs and/or projects.
Provides clerical support including preparing or answering correspondence; may open and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
May conduct marketing and sales activities.
May provide basic financial support through fee collection, data entry and tracking.
Some positions provide greater fiscal assistance and may prepare and/or monitor budgets and conduct revenue reconciliation and depositions or petty cash disbursements and oversee department/division purchase cards.
May coordinate schedules for meetings, training, or travel; may prepare agenda for and transcribe minutes at meetings.
Acts as liaison to other City offices.
May administer document and record management systems.
