*JOB SUMMARY:*
Work with one of the leading surgeons in Colorado to utilize minimally invasive endovascular techniques to relieve venous diseases We are a busy specialist's office looking to fill the position of part time Medical Assistant.
The job includes taking patient histories, vitals, inputting patient data into the EMR, prepping for and assisting in OR/in-office surgeries, inventory and ordering, autoclaving instruments, and scheduling appointments.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, and willing to help! *ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* * Patient scheduling and/or supervision of the process * Patient greeting and sign into office and/or supervise the process * Assistance to physician as directed * Perform the duties normally associated with office supervision * Maintenance of marketing data base as used in the practice at the time * Conduct of the regularly expected marketing/sales visits to potential referring physicians, treatment/care centers for prospective patients and other civic organizations where prospective patients may likely be developed * Develop and use database audits from office records to facilitate marketing campaigns * Conduct telephone interaction with patients for purposes of confirmation of appointments, coordination of follow-up care and interacting with insurance carriers to facilitate payments for care and/or * Train and demonstrate expected practice to front desk and back office staff as needed * Represent the medical practice at external meetings as needed to maintain practice visibility and drive of brand development * Supply inventory coordination and in proper storage and security of key medical related instruments, medications and other physician related control items such as prescription pads.
* Comply and assist office in best practice performance of with all HIPAA regulations * Comply and assist office in best practice performance of OSHA/DOL related regulations *ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* To be determined by your Management at any given time.
*SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:* Will be engaged in the recruitment and selection of office personnel, both medical and nonmedical.
Regularly manages office, marketing and business processes as determined and assigned by the Practice Manager and owner Physician.
When called upon, will be responsible for management of office personnel.
*QUALIFICATIONS:* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

*EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:* Medical Assistant Certification from accredited MA education facility High School Diploma, or equivalent *LANGUAGE SKILLS:* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies and procedures, patient charts and EMRs.
Must be aboe to communicate clearly and helpfully to patients and other medical professionals.
*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Abiltiy to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
*REASONING ABILITY:* Ability to apply critical thinking skills, make recommendations to the practice manager and owner physician regarding marketing and management practices as well as coordinate patient care and scheduling.
Must be able to predict needed patient flow, staff needs for support and attend to the daily requests of the management team.
t *SUPERVISION:* Is directly responsible for management of both process and the balance of care decisions made with other medical team serving the practice patients.
