Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher to join our rapidly growing childcare center.
As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for our daycare students.
Your passion for early childhood education and the well-being of young children will contribute to the growth and development of our infant, toddler, twaddler, prepper or Pre-K/Preschool students.
Duties:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that are provided to you
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the success of each student
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Foster a love of learning through engaging and interactive teaching methods
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and empathy when working with students
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Must have required state certifications to be a Lead teacher.
If not currently holding certifications, must be able to obtain them within one month of hire
- Previous experience in childcare or classroom settings is preferred
- Must be able to commute from Longmont, Loveland, or Berthoud.
- Must be able to pass a background check
