Provide budget planning information.
Prepare, compile, and complete financial, human resources, and payroll related tasks.
Initiate, compose and edit correspondence; respond to departmental inquiries.
Coordinate and schedule custodial trainings which ensuring compliance with federal and state standards, laws and regulations.
Assist manager with administrative matters, often handling sensitive and confidential information and/or material.

Coordinates substitute custodian scheduling process (e.

staffing long-term substitutes, emergency substitute needs, hiring/orientation, etc.
) to comply with all district, state, and federal regulations.
Dispatches substitutes to provide coverage at school sites and for emergency requests for substitutes.
Reconciles substitute payroll information by validating/calculating rate of pay, shifts worked, and prepares time sheets for payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll records.
Responsible for approval, verification and validating reported time in district time clock system.
Serves as a department timekeeper or back-up timekeeper.
Maintains a variety of records/files such as substitute records, requests, performance documentation, budget numbers, timekeeping, personnel/payroll records for substitute staff.
These files could include a variety of confidential and non-confidential files and records (both manual and electronic).

Respond to site needs regarding overflow and problem solve solutions.
